An obvious part to the pendant lighting is to have a perfect light fitting to go inside. Unfortunately the course does not provide any seminars/lectures about lighting even though a large number of students have decided to use this within their work. So through independently researching this, the outcome for the pendant has resulted in an E14 LED - this is due to the hole of the blown glass being at 30mm wide meaning it is too small for standard BC/B22 lamp holders.
The cables were taken from a 'Hemma' table lamp from IKEA as this is a safe and quick option to use and was more likely to pass the PAT testing after I had added a new lamp holder on. With correctly wiring the pieces and attaching the new metal mechanisms so that that plate catches on the inside and does not come out again, the lighting is now complete.
PAT testing was free through the university, with all 5 cables passing.
