Final 3mm Test
The next 3mm test was to see if the texture from the plaster/flint forms became more detailed. The firing sequece was kept the same apart from increasing the top temperature to 740 degrees instread of 730, and dwelling for 20 minutes instead of 10.
The outcome is still not as interesting and good quality as the 6mm glass, there seems to be a lot of bubbles appearing as well, which does not happen when using the thicker glass. Therefore I will be purchasing 10 sheets of 6mm thick glass and hope that I can fuse and slump all of them within the next two weeks to create my desired outcome.
